Auto Equalization System to begin shipping with Insta-Valve 250 insertion valves
Burr Ridge, IL – September 20, 2018 – Hydra-Stop is pleased to announce our new 4 through 12-inch Auto Equalization System (Auto-E) will begin shipping on September 24, 2018, as current inventory is depleted.
The Hydra-Stop team has engineered another enhancement to improve productivity, performance, and safety with the development and launch of our Auto-E System.
The development of Auto-E eliminates the need to use an external equalization source to set the valve cartridge. Equalization is now engineered into the Insta-Valve 250 valve cartridge and is standard on all 4 through 12-inch Insta-Valve 250 valve cartridges.
Auto Equalization – How does it work?
The Auto-Equalization Insertion Tool Adapter is placed on the insertion tool, with the actuator pin aligned and inserted into the completion plug check valve. The actuator pin keeps the check valve open allowing flow above the valve cartridge during insertion, equalizing pressure.
When it is time to set the valve cartridge, just turn the feed screw and the valve cartridge advances into place. No external equalization is required.
Other benefits of the Auto Equalization System include:
• Simpler Installation – Install the Auto-Equalization adapter and proceed with normal installation.
• Safer installation – no additional external equalization equipment is required to set the valve cartridge in place.
• Faster installation – Decreased setup time of auxiliary equipment plus decreased labor time saves you time and money.
